Cookie & Tracking Notice
Including Banner and Preference-Center Copy (Appendix A)
Eir Services Group, LLC d/b/a Timber Health
Effective Date: October 02, 2026 | Last Updated: October 02, 2026 | Version 1.1
1. Introduction and Scope
- This Cookie & Tracking Notice (this "Notice") explains how Eir Services Group, LLC d/b/a Timber Health ("Timber Health," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://timberhealth.co and the related applications and services that link to it (the "Services"), how consent works, and how you can manage your choices. This Notice supplements the Timber Health Privacy Policy and the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, each available at https://timberhealth.co, which govern how the information collected through these technologies is handled.
2. What These Technologies Are
- Cookies are small text files placed on your browser or device. Pixels and web beacons are small electronic files that record whether a page, email, or advertisement was viewed or acted on. SDKs are code components in applications that can enable analytics, communications, and similar functions. Local storage holds information on your device for site functionality. We refer to all of these as "tracking technologies."
3. How Consent Works on Our Site
- Nothing non-essential runs before you consent. On your first visit, only strictly necessary technologies operate. A consent banner asks for your choices before any other technology fires; non-essential technologies remain off until you affirmatively opt in to the relevant category.
- Your choices are granular and symmetrical. The banner presents "Accept All," "Decline All," and "Manage Choices" with equal prominence, and declining is exactly as easy as accepting. In the preference center, every non-essential category is off by default and is enabled only by your affirmative action. Declining has no effect on your ability to use the Services.
- Your choices are recorded and revocable. Your consent state — including the version of this Notice presented and a timestamp — is logged so it can be demonstrated, and you can change or withdraw your choices at any time through the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of every page. We will re-present the banner if this Notice changes materially, and at least every twelve (12) months.
4. Categories of Tracking Technologies We Use
- We group tracking technologies into the four categories below. The preference center lists the specific technologies active in each category at any time.
| Category | What it does | Consent required |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Enables core functions: security, session management, load balancing, fraud prevention, consent-state storage, and remembering essential settings. Cannot be switched off because the Services do not function without it. | No — always active |
| Functional | Remembers non-essential preferences you choose, such as display settings, to improve your experience. | Yes — off by default |
| Analytics and performance | Helps us understand how the Services are used in aggregate — pages visited, errors encountered, load times — so we can improve them. | Yes — off by default |
| Advertising and marketing | Supports the measurement and delivery of Timber Health advertising off our site. Never used on health-related pages, as described below. | Yes — off by default |
5. Health Pages Are Different
- Regardless of your consent choices, we do not place third-party advertising pixels or SDKs on any intake, questionnaire, checkout, account, or other page that reflects a health condition or treatment interest. Where we measure advertising conversions, the signals are sent server-to-server, are minimized to non-health event names, and go only to vendors bound by contract to process them solely on our behalf.
- We do not use session-replay or chat-recording tools on health-related pages. Where any recording is used elsewhere in the Services, it is disclosed and consented to before capture begins.
6. Universal Opt-Out Signals
- We honor recognized universal opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), automatically: a valid signal from your browser is treated as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser, without requiring further action. Because there is no uniform standard for legacy "Do Not Track" signals, we respond to them only where required by law, as described in the Privacy Policy. Your other opt-out choices — including an opt-out that applies across your account rather than to one browser — are described on the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" page linked in the footer of every page.
7. Managing Your Choices
- You can manage tracking technologies through: the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of every page (the authoritative control for this site); your browser settings, which allow you to block or delete cookies; and your device settings, which control mobile advertising identifiers. Blocking strictly necessary technologies through your browser may prevent parts of the Services from functioning. The "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" page, beside the Cookie Preferences link in the footer, explains the opt-out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising.
8. Changes to This Notice
- We may update this Notice as our technologies, vendors, or legal requirements change. The current version, with its effective date, is always available from the site footer, and material changes trigger a fresh consent request as described above.
