Any medication prescribed in this program is an FDA-approved medicine prescribed for sleep outside its approved labeling (off-label), which is a clinical decision your clinician explains to you — what the medication is approved for, why it is being considered for you, and the alternatives, including non-medication approaches such as sleep habits and cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia.
